Progress Report/United States of Mind – Artist Spotlight
No lie – it’s been a rough few years in Detroit, but thankfully, the city is starting to emerge – and with it, great art. A. Biggs and D. Allie (Aaron and David, respectively) are members of the Motor City-based hip hop collective United States of Mind.
David is currently out on tour promoting is current project, Progress Report (a collaboration with beat-smith Eddie Logix). In this 40 minute interview, we dig deep into Progress Report and the Detroit independent hip hop scene – exploring it’s roots, and where they intend to go from here.
